We all know someone who has been diagnosed with cancer or some other illness that caused them to lose their hair.  That is why we need to get to work creating foxy fashions!

My grandmother, Margaret Powell, suffered from Alopecia.  She lost all of her hair as a young adult.  I spent many hours with my Nanny, and she was a "Foxy Lady."  She was very fashion conscious and created very many beautiful outfits and quilts.  She also made lots of dolls and fun stuff for her grandchildren.  She wore wigs, but she always made herself cute caps to wear.  How fun would it be for people who suffered from hair loss to be able to choose from an assortment of handmade foxy fashions?  Nanny would have loved that!  She too was diagnosed with cancer, and had chemotherapy.  I can remember her laughing about having already dealt with hair loss in her younger years.  Please join me in creating these fun fashions for special people like my Nanny!!
